The Montclair PTA is a non-profit organization run entirely by parent volunteers, dedicated teachers, and passionate community members. We exist for one simple reason: to bridge the gap between what the state provides and what our students truly need to thrive.

We actively work to tackle inequities and allocate funds to support our Community Engagement & Belonging Committee, ensuring that every child and family feels welcome and supported.

Our Community Engagement & Belonging Committee receives dedicated PTA funding to ensure that every family — regardless of background, language, or economic situation — feels welcome and supported. We believe that when all families can participate fully in school life, every child benefits.
Financial barriers should never prevent participation. That's why we offer scholarships for PTA membership, volunteer clearances, and key school activities like the 5th-grade overnight program.
